Bodhisattva Ordination on Camp St. — The Esthetic Apostle. A poem about 748 Camp St., former longstanding home to the New Orleans Zen Temple.

My poem, Overlooking the VA, published in Drunk Monkeys. I wrote this in 2018 when I lived in New Orleans and worked at a trauma hospital. Our view was the palms in front of the VA Medical Center, and I dreamed then (and always) of the Gold Ballroom.
